problem fixed there is a glitch in getting the stockcar class posted, so they will be delayed. An additional 25 copies are being printed to be offered for sale. If you would like to reserve any, let me know. They will be numbered from 61 thru 86, in case you want a specific number. Heads up.. A 2021 NVSR coloring book is being printed that will be given away at tracks this year. Each and every member that joined last year and raced or not, will have a page. 60 copies are being printed and numbered and will be for sale by the Spring meeting. These will be available at a cost of 10.00.

Sat- June 19, we will start out the weekend at Olgilvie Raceway. .. Pit gates open at 4, hot laps at 6:15, if any, and racing starts at 6:30 PM. On Sun, June 20 we go to Halvor Lines Speedway-Proctor for the vintage picnic and the nites racing. The picnic is 2 - 4pm, and hot laps begin at 4:30 with racing at 5pm. Some housekeeping items: you must have joined prior to racing- no memberships sold at the track. Our rules and applications can be found on this website. As discussed at our Spring

It appears, unless there is a last minute major change in MN covid policy for large gatherings, that our season opener will be Fri June 26 at Gondik Law Speedway followed by ABC at Ashland ,WI, the following nite. The first race we had scheduled was to be Bemidji on the 24th of this month. Bemidji has posted that all races there are canceled thru the 31st, so that leaves Olgilvie on June 13 as our first possible race. Keep in mind...there will be no memberships sold at the track. You have plenty of time to submit prior to this race event. Questions--call me.....

the NVSR.... I have not posted anything recently regarding our races as not any track really had or has any idea how the season will go as a result of the virus madness. What we do know is: Memorial Day at Bemidji has been reduced to one day of racing, Sunday with a rain date for Monday, if we race at all.. It seems that the Governors order for all cafes and bars to be closed till May 1, trumps our choice of the date for our Spring Meeting--so it has been canceled. Anything that needs to be covered will be covered at the pit meeting of our first race, whenever that is. Will be held on April 25th, 2020,, at the Stacy Bar & Grill. The meeting will start at 11:00, doors open at 10:30. see you there.... the long awaited and anticipated 2020 NVSR schedule is on the web site... A new track this years is I-94.. The year end Cedar Lake race is a joint invitational with NVSR & the IMCA old-timers..more on this at our as yet not scheduled Spring Meeting. This will be a 2 day race for both clubs. During our off season, long I might add, some people build and repair their race cars, finally finish their customer work that has been neglected all race season, go to Arizona to play softball with the elite of snowbirds, and then some just go to banquets. Congratulations Danny & Ann and the entire Vang racing dynasty on your Wissota award.

App 40 people attended the 20th anniversary Banquet for the Northern Vintage Racers; I say app because I don't know if I counted myself or not. A prayer by our own Paster Steve S. who owns and even once drove the vintage John 3:16 , and an outstanding meal followed.
